Some outbound links on PriceMatch — the “Get deal” / “Go to deal” buttons on a deal page — are tagged with an affiliate network, such as a retailer's own associates programme.
When you click a tagged link and go on to buy something, PriceMatch may earn a small commission from the retailer. This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the retailer directly.
Whether a deal is affiliate-tagged has no bearing on where it appears — not in Hot/Cold order, not in any feed, and not in search. Ranking is driven entirely by community votes and the deal's own signals. A deal posted by a community member with no affiliate relationship ranks on exactly the same terms as one that happens to link to a tagged retailer.
Any deal with an affiliate-tagged outbound link shows a small “Affiliate link” marker next to its CTA button on the deal page. Deals with no marker have no affiliate relationship at all.
