Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to register for and use PriceMatch. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Your alias (display name) is your public identity on PriceMatch. Choose it carefully — it is visible to all users.
• You may not impersonate another person, create multiple accounts to circumvent moderation, or share your account with others.

Community Content

PriceMatch is built on community contributions. When you submit a deal, vote, or comment, you agree that:

• Accuracy: Deals you submit must be genuine, accurate, and verifiable. Do not post expired, fake, or misleading deals.
• Originality: Do not copy deals verbatim from other platforms without adding value.
• Respect: Comments and votes must be made in good faith. No harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
• No spam: Do not post promotional content, affiliate links without disclosure, or repetitive submissions.
• No illegal content: Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.

Content that violates these rules may be removed. Repeat violations may result in account suspension or removal.

Content Licence

By posting content on PriceMatch, you grant PriceMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

Moderation

PriceMatch operates a community trust model. Deal visibility and user standing are influenced by community votes and moderator decisions. Moderation decisions are made to protect the quality and integrity of the platform. You may contact us if you believe a moderation decision was made in error.

Prohibited Use

You may not use PriceMatch to:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt platform services or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account
• Use automated tools to vote, post, or interact with content
• Conduct any activity that is unlawful under Irish or EU law

Disclaimers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PriceMatch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on deal information posted by community members.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the platform. Continued use of PriceMatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
